The ability to come up with a story to any form of music is a wonderful talent that many artist do not have. The title of the song explains what it is about, he is talking about someone who drives for success and is determined to reach her goals no matter the obstacles. The song is for a girl that he has not yet met but wishes to. “ Ambitious Girl” is more of a spoken word where he encourages a lady who has a lot potential and chases her dream instead of chasing men like other women. The intro and video show how he messes up versus what he should have done for his lady. “ The Break Up Song” by Wale features a story of how he meets a girl then messes up and she moves on. He shows versatility in many of his songs, going from love songs to rapping about the world.

His most recent album The Gifted released in 2013 features some of my favorites such as “ Vanity” and “ Love Hate Thing.” The rhythm and flow that he has on top of his intelligence and humor make him a good artist. He’s been around for about twelve or thirteen years and still does not get a lot of recognition. Even though at first I may not like the song such as “Pour It Up” eventually I end up liking them. The song is about someone explaining to their partner that they have been drinking and are about to “spaz.” A very familiar quote is in the song “all of my kindness is taken for weakness” a lot of people can relate to this. Though I am not a big fan of Kanye West he does well on the song as well. The song itself has a nice beat and rhythm to it. Though McCartney does not make a vocal appearance on the track his guitar strumming makes a huge impact. Her most recent song “ four five seconds” features Kanye West and Paul McCartney. In Rihanna’s first hit song “ Umbrella” she sings about her and her significant other being in a storm but she isn’t going anywhere and he can depend on her to shield him from the rain. The much known incident between Chris Brown and Rihanna still play a big part in their career. Her first number one song “Umbrella” was popular for over a year. With her popular album Good Girl Gone Bad in 2007 at the age of 19. Rihanna originally from Barbados born in 1988. With more than ten albums she has more than ten number one songs.
